Follow the hilarious antics of three chefs as they race their knives and pans against the clock to prepare a wedding feast to the foot-tapping beats of traditional samulnori rhythm and acrobatic acts at NANTA. Audiences will have a chance at their own five seconds of fame with opportunities to play percussion, compete in dumpling piling contests, and participation in the wedding ceremony. The non-verbal musical has been performed in front of over eight million people since its first performance in 1997 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and currently holds five theatres dedicated towards the show in South Korea and Bangkok, Thailand.
Witness South Korea’s award-winning non-verbal performance, NANTA, that utilises samulnori, a traditional Korean rhythm, contemporary music, and acrobatic acts to depict a comedic tale of culinary blunders as three cooks race against time to prepare a wedding feast.
